However, it is possible to list your website in every single directory available; there are millions of directories online. The best plan of action is to figure out what directories you want to list your website in. The first step is to write out the criteria, for example, target location and target industry are the most important criteria to base your directory hunt on.

Locate the directories which appear near the top of the search, and add them to your list of directories to add your website into.
